Jet Skiing is alive & well on Phuket.
You can twist, turn, hop, dive and if you fall off, you just get back on again.
Riding a Jet Ski is like riding a motorbike and like on any motorbike you control
the power of a jetski by twisting the throttle as it plowes the waters instead of the
road. There are no external propellors so you can not cut yourself and a kill switch
automatically turns the machine off whenever you fall in the water. |

Most operators provide you with a life vest
and its always a good idea to wear one.
On Patong Beach as well as Karon and Kata Beaches swimmers
are protected by bouyes. Outside of these areas jetski pilots are free to enjoy life on
the fast wave. |

| For the less experienced riders you
should just take it easy, keep your speed down and enjoy the beach tour. You should
also take into consideration the noise pollution they produce and pilot your jet ski
well away from shore. |
