formidable healing powers.
To this day Thai people from all over the country flock to Wat Chalong in
order to regain their physical and spiritual powers. The Temple fairs are vivid and
colorful.

and souvenirs - this might be the right place.
Even though Wat
Chalong is the temple with the biggest influx of tourists, it is still far from
crowded.
At the back of the right hand sala one finds a goldfish pond.
According to Buddhist legend, goldfish are the incarnation of angels.
Goldfish bring luck and prosperity. Wat
Chalong is famous for its healing powers.
A visit to the temple includes the incense, the flower and a leaf of gold
for the statue(s).
