       Where do you buy good food at reasonable prices in Patong? At the European restaurants on Soi Bangla? Nope. In McDonalds? Don't think so. Where then? Well, why don't you try the food stalls in Sai Nam Yen? Here you can put together a three course meal complete with fresh fruits as desert. And all at a very reasonable price. You pay for each item you add to your meal. This way, your food will not contain something you don't want. What you see is what you get!There's a big variation available. You have the classical Lao barbecue, all the different noodle soups, chicken, squid, eggs....whatever. Everything is available. And then you have the fruit. Fresh fruit served as it is or with spicy sauces. All of it sold from sidecars on motorbikes. It's truly something you need to see with your own eyes.

A golden rule of traveling is to check out where the locals eat their food. And where do the Thai people go to satisfy their hunger? You got it. The food stalls.
