"Many people only come here to see the sunset. In my mind, that's really foolish"

Promthep Cape is of course very near the Promthep Wind Power Station which was the first destination in Goin' Places. There is a big parking lot with vendors to fulfill all your needs. Just leave your bike there, walk up the stairs and over on the other side. Then you will see the cape. You will have to walk in pretty difficult terrain and it's also very steep. Once you're out on the cape you will be rewarded though. The view is very nice and there are usually not that many people out there, probably because of the walk combined with the temperature. This place is also famous for its sunsets. If you want to catch one, be early. The place is packed at that time.

says Koy. "The sunsets are of course something extra and all visitors to Phuket should really try to catch one. But this place is also worth a daytime visit".

Koy is back next week with a new place you shouldn't miss if you ever set foot on Phuket soil. This time it's Hat Naiharn, a small beach that has its strong points. Catch the story next week and find out!
