Leaving Patong, going north, you will pass Kalim. Yep, the word is pass. Most people don't stop here. But it's actually a nice spot. The road gets really wide so that you can stop for a moment without causing a traffic problem. You have the waves rolling in from the ocean and you have a view of Patong from a distance. It's not an elevated position so you don't really get that bird perspective but it's still a nice spot. Going here at night is even better with the lights of Patong and the sounds of the ocean.

"I like to come here every now and then" says Koy. "If I'm going up to Kamala or Surin or whatever it might be, this is a nice place to stop and rest. Especially if I'm on a big bike like this. It's always hard on my arms to drive one of these..."

    Next week Koy will be in Chalong. There's a house for sale there and it's supposed to be a really beautiful place. Curious Koy can't keep herself away from it. We call it "Snooping around", you read it next week.
