"Going down this road with
the palm trees on both sides really gives you the feeling of tropical paradise".

On
the island of Koh Sireh (Koh = Island), there are many untouched places to be found. Like
the empty beach we visit this week. This proves that the island has more than the Wat (Wat
= temple) and the sea gypsy's to offer. The thing is that this was a first for Koy as
well. She had never been down this road before and she was anxious to go. It turned out to
be a very good idea. Going down this road with the palm trees on both sides really gives
you the feeling of tropical paradise. And then the road makes a hard right and ends. It
kind of looks like the road company ran out of money. No problem. You don't really need to
go any further by car. Park, pick up the camera and take a walk on the beach.

"It's nice to
travel by car for a change" says Koy. "Although I'm very fond of the
big bikes and racers, they can't beat the comfort of a car. Not that the Suzuki Jeep is
much of a car but at least it keeps me dry in case of rain". Point well taken,
the rain came shortly after.
The
breeze from the ocean together with the shade of the palm trees makes you want to stay
forever. Looking out towards the horizon, you can see some islands. All of them look like
they're ripped out of a travel agents brochure. I kind of doubt it though...

Next
week Koy takes you to Karon. Well, not really. She takes you to a place outside of Karon.
As you know by now, she has a thing for elevated positions and this is an elevated
position for sure. The view of Karon is very nice and you shouldn't miss it. Check it out
next week!
