After all those rhinestone girls at the
karaoke I felt like a dose of real Go Go action. With Dao's short, red dress in the back
of my mind, I walked around the corner. It was around eleven. The beach road was full of
strolling, shopping and laughing people. Filipino bossa and soul from the Thara and
the Wall mingled with the sharp smell of burned chili and the soft fragrance of
incense. The moon hung in the sky like the bowl of a scale. Hey - it felt good to be
alive!
I passed the Irish Bar -
fond memories of little Lek and her warm lips, who introduced me to the pleasures of
Patong years ago. She was a devoted smoker once
I briefly wondered where she was
now.
I passed through the hollers of the girls (hellooh, where you gooh?),
turned left at the Kings Fashion and patted the Grillhuette girl on her shapely bottom.
(You know the one that always stands on the corner with a menu and a smile?)
I know she is a respectable girl and
you're not supposed to do that. Pat her. But I never could resist this one. She just looks
so great with her tight dress, tight butt and all.Next year I'm going to marry you, I
whispered in her ear. Her answer was a laugh and a smack in my belly. What had I expected?
Dropping into the Cat's Club with its soothing air-con, it felt
like coming home. I tucked into my favorite corner, ordered a beer and enjoyed. Wasn't
this a sore for sight eyes!
Bare buttocks and bikinis, yes, yes, that is what a lonely Fox wants to
feast his eyes on!
One of the buttocks and bikini girls seated herself beside me. Did I
mind? Hell - would you?
Her name was Noi and she slipped into my arms like a tender flower.
Cozily cuddled up with shapely Noi, I watched the fire show. What a way to set your
cigarette on fire! I have never figured out how they do this without getting burned and
blistered. Can you do that? I asked Noi. She shuddered : No! Too hot!
She leaned back. I felt
her hand on my thigh. At the next table Günther and Erich waved at me. I knew them well.
They had been visiting Patong off and on as long as I could remember.
Halloh mister Fox, Erich yelled -how is se buzinezz? I pointed at Noi and Erich let out a
howling laugh.
What was there to say? Were we having fun already?
Basically I could have stayed in the Club all night, got drunk and let
them carry me into a tuktuk at closing time. But I hadn't been out for a while - several
days in fact - and I felt like exploring a bit.
So I bid buxom Noi farewell with a peck on her cheeks and got out. A mans
got to do what he's got to do. Farewell Noi, please don't cry! I'm sure there are many
farangs waiting to cuddle with you! I might just cruise on up to Bangla Road via Soi
Crocodile and check out what's happening there.
