Soi Katoy is Paradise Paradox

Soi Crocodile got its name from the Old Crocodile Disco that used to exist at the back of the Soi (Street) years ago. However, the name might still be apt as you stroll among it's new generation of predators... 
Right at the boardwalk, even before you enter the street you might be greeted by outrageously flashy katoys in exorbitant robes. They look like something out of a Fellini or Science Fiction movie. One cannot help but wonder, what they are doing here. Is this their casual dress for a quiet evening?

"Katoy" in Thai means either transvestite or transsexual. Looking at these marvelous creatures in Soi Katoy you won't be able to tell, what they are, what sex they have. Or even - which parts of which sex they either still have or had removed. Or added.

Modern Surgical Techniques combined with the fine features of the Thai race  can turn a man into a girl easily.
Breast implants, liposuction, collagen in the lips and buttocks and of course the very famous "cut and tuck" and voila - he's now a very lovely girl?

Katoys are a special temptation to many - boys as well as girls. At the Tequila Bar right at the entrance of the Soi (at Soi Bangla) part of the show consists of beholding the marvel written in the faces of the spectators.
"Is this for real" or so they think. Yes, it is for real. And it is all there for you to grab and hold!

As you walk down Soi Katoy, you will find many bars that have "real" girls in them. Only the experienced can tell the difference at first glance. And maybe that is just the thrill - not really knowing whom and what you are dealing with? Which surprise will hit you at the end of the day?
